Six amazing labyrinth fish
Labyrinth fish are extremely popular among aquarists. This group owes its name to a unique organ that supplies additional oxygen. Located in a suprabranchial chamber, this organ is shaped like a labyrinth. Thanks to it, labyrinth fish can thrive in bodies of water with low oxygen levels. In aquariums, these inhabitants—six of which are presented in our article—also feel perfectly at home.
